![]() ![]() I woke up by 4am every morning because I couldn't wait to sit out there and drink my tea and watch the sky lighten up. Everything about the place is beautiful: the rooms, the grounds, the outdoor shower.and the porch overlooking the bay is absolute heaven. We arrived at sunset and Hannah greeted us with mango juice on the porch as the sun set. As you pull up in front you know you are in for something special. The drive up to the inn is so lush and beautiful. I wish I could give this place ten stars. I wouldn’t even dream of staying anywhere else. I visited Hawai’i with the expectation that it would be the only time I’d ever go (there are ALOT of countries I still want to visit) but all I can do now is think of what I can do to go back. All I can say is that this place is one of those rare places where it feels like home- like you instantly belong there. ![]() They were one of my favourite experiences while we were there. Do yourself a favour- relax, trot out there in your bathrobe and enjoy an outdoor shower. The volcanic showers out in the garden are great fun. Friendly, helpful and the best sense of humour. Michael (Greg was away visiting family for most of our stay) is fantastic. The breakfasts were incredible and sitting on the lanai with a coffee in the mornings was so calming. She even gave me recommendations of where to find some fabric I was looking for and was always offering to do things to make our visit more comfortable. She has a heart of gold and was helpful and caring beyond measure. Hannah (the housekeeper) is one of the most wonderful people I’ve met in my entire life. We stayed in the 4-poster bed, ocean-view room and the views over the coast in the morning were just beautiful. I found this guesthouse in my trusty Lonely Planet guide and booking it was the best decision I made out of our 2 week, 4-stop holiday. ![]()
